Painting rc bodies on the outside

Ok
I am going to paint a body on the outside and have been searching to see what paint is good for this.
I will share my findings

Yes I know to paint inside, but this will be my show off body. Only slow driving, so it will probably not be uaed much.

I scuffed a lexan body with 2000 grit paper and sprayed 4 different paints.
Tamiya primer.
Rc Cusrom colour
Tamiya polycarbonate paint and rustoleum paintes touch
On separate patches

It is busy drying now but even now while the paint is soft. I cannot scratch the rustoleum off.[Image: 99235b773db1e291db353061536d1896.jpg]
When dry,it will be sanded, clear coat, rubbing compound and polished.

I will post Again with my findings at the end.

rustoleum is the blue paint

Oh yes. Also the reason for painting outside is that I can do a nice detailewjou this way. Easier. I hope!

Here is my hyundai genesis body that was painted on the outside with pactra aqua wave backed with black. Turned out better than I had thought also. Just giving you some encouragement that it can be done!!
