I bought a da vinci xyz 1.0. It cost me $450 for the printer, filament is about $30 and learning how to 3d design takes alot of practice and patience

I'm sure hobbyking do filament fairly cheap, they just released a new cheap printer too.

Nice stuff, is there lots of pre designed stuff online? Does it work out cheaper to make, than to buy?

You can find some pre designed stuff online. Alot of that is replacement chassis parts and a few accessories.

Some stuff is cheaper to make than to buy and some stuff isnt, but if you want that one off piece that no one else has its definitely worth it.
