I finally received my kit the other day, this is the first ever RC I've built and I made a couple of very novice mistakes, soon corrected them though and I am happy with the final outcome.
Now just waiting for my electrics to arrive and be installed.
Hope you like (Yes I know the shell needs changing, but it was nearly free and will do for practice!)
Now I'm just waiting for the electronics to turn up, it's my birthday tomorrow, so I was really hoping to get it out on my birthday, but if not I'm just going to bash the Mini 8ight lol!
One thing I would ask, rather than ordering one from China and it taking weeks to arrive, does anyone have a DIY mod to add a bit more tension to the long belt? It seems a little slack and bouncy to me... I also do plan on getting a new shell as this one is horrible, I actually like how it looks, but with all the wrongly spelled chav sponsors on it etc... It's only for bashing, same as the wheels, no doubt I'll be having a few crashes and don't want to ruin something nice and expensive lol.
Any tips/tricks/advice would be greatly appreciated
