I also installed the shocks!
Which brings me to my first questions...

1. In order to set all the adjustments do I have to install all the electronics first? (because of the weight)

2. How do I control (set) the ride height? For now the car is sitting very height! Sad

3. I read in the forums (and saw an YouTube of course) that most people are putting soft springs on the back. Can I put the fronts in the back and vise versa? (the fronts are softer but they are also longer...)

Well, that's for now... I'll be back with more...[Image: 4dd3667cf5fbdb8ee9f9dbf4d28b58a2.jpg][Image: 8ad7b8820d4ff1a2fe0cdabcb820d4fa.jpg]

What adjustments ? If you are going to put the battery behind then you need to balance the electronics position. If the battery sits in the middle I suggest using weights and pushing electronics as far back as possible

Wait till you have the battery, electronics and body shell. Then adjust ride height.

You got the springs opposite for stock. Front spring is the short one and back is long. But you can switch it around depending on the weight bias of the car. Handling of car changes accordingly. I run supersoft in rear and soft in front. However if you press down on it lightly, the rear has more resistance compared to front due to shock angle and position.

Which springs (soft) should I buy for the rear? (I'm buying from RCmart) Should they be same height as the stock ones?

* I found this set in RCmart

what do you think of this?

(can I post a link here?)
Playing with the setup... I know, I have to put the electronics on, for full weight. But I couldn't resist...

Front toe, camber, caster, Ackerman...

Due to Ackerman I have lost some angle on the full lock, but I couldn't do better... Sad

Rear camber is only shown in the last 2 pictures.

Front camber is 6° rear is 1°
Rear toe is set with the 1° adjuster.
Front toe, I don't know... A lot! (out)

I am also trying to fit the body. Seems that this body is 190mm, while the D4 is for 200mm bodies. (I tried an old one and fitted perfect). Also I think the body has smaller wheelbase. So I changed the shims on the back, so that back wheels come a little more towardsthe front...
I have also trimmed the fenders wide...
I am waiting for my mst wheels and tires to see how it sits on them.

Looks like body's wheelbase is a bit shorter than the car too. I got the same on my D3 but I use velcro body mount so I can wiggle it out of the wheels.
My new wheels / tires have arrived!
