Glad to hear you and the car were ok.

My biggest fear when drifting my 335i was crashing it.

Yeah, fear plays a huge part when you first start drifting and its almost always the reason people hit. Once I got more into it the fear goes away and you find yourself trying crazy stuff. I also bought another car for track use only Tongue
hear yah on the crazt stuff... one time I managed to link 15 switchbacks in a row Smile

Nice!
I snow drift - its weird what you say about fear. The one time I've nearly nailed a wall, I came into it already thinking "this is a bad idea..". Or maybe it was just a bad idea to start?

Fear causes a person to overcorrect in situations, or worse panic.  Having a clear head is much more beneficial. Now anytime I almost hit a wall, I pull off the track and give myself a little cool off time to clear my head and then jump back on the track.  As for snow drifting, I love it. I used to go crazy in my STI. lol
