Purchasing a locked diff instead of the factory one? Or are you locking the stock rear diff?

Put in a solid/locked diff. I took apart my rear diff on redcat(hsp, exceed) used j/b weld to glue together the gears. Ive read about how others have tried silly putty and that works plus its not permanent.

Hot glue did the trick for me, and it's very easy to take out cause it will come out in one whole peice.

I think it's a very good idea. Aside from a ball bearing set, the locked rear differential is an excellent upgrade for any drift specific chassis.

I used 4 small body clips and locked my front and rear diff. Perfect for drifing.
