Eagle R31 ball cups (loose)
#1
Hey guys! Would someone have a trick to eliminate all the play in the steering linkage? Ball cups are pretty loose on my kit...

Is it a need for an upgrade? If yes, what would go there?

Thx!

I cut out out tiny pieces from a plastic bag and stuff in the ball link and if there's some resistance I make the plastic pieces smaller to allow a more free movement. There's also other methods like sticking in little tiny piece of foam and also a thin coat of glue inside to make the tolerance tighter.

Sounds like a good plan! I'll give it a shot!

I replaced the balls with Team Associated ones and the cups with RPM ones. Problem solved.

replace the balls, but drifting wise it wouldnt make any different. I tried before and after and it is still the same thanks to the gyro..good luck and let us know if your mod works for you.
