Gas Powered Drift Trike
#1
Hi guys
In this thread i want to show the process of building a scale drift trike.
So, as we know, scale accesories are very cool on model cars, especialy in drift for better look. And thats why some time ago i have build a roof rack for my Evo, but i was have no idea what i could put on it, to make it as unique as its possible. On my place people have BMX bikes, and some others have small skateboards. I have put a BMX on it, but it was not sufficient, so i make a surfboard. And it looks great.

This was oryginal, and i was pround of it. And now i want to go level up. Thats why i decided to make a drift trike. Im not sure, but i think that this might be one of the first scale trike like this.

So far, i have build some of engine, and i have experimented with frame shape. Tomorrow i will buy some polistyren pipes, and i will make frame.

For now thats all, tell me what do you guys think about it

Great work. Yeah I'm always down for scale items for that added realism. And a drift trike with a figure riding it would be sick.

Oh yes, i forget, thanks that you tell about the figure. The question is, where i can find figures like Danny Huynh uses in his builds? I mean fully funcional figures. I have looking in Japanese sites, Russian, every US that i know, i was in every toy shop in my city, and i cant find them. Are them custom made or something?

Danny is a member on here, I forgot the name of the figures he uses. I know they're very very expensive though
