HPI RX-8

Just finished up a new shell for my TT02 FRD.  It is the 200mm HPI RX-8.  This will be the primary running body for this chassis, so I tried to keep it simple, and fairly low buck, because I am sure it will get beat on a bit.  It is Tamiya silver, and I did the carpet tape CF hood effect.  The rear wing and struts are Speedway Pal.  The buckets are modified Soarer from Yokomo.  The front splitter is scratch built, and actually attaches to the chassis.  I made the exhaust from aluminum on a lathe.

So dope! I love the "yo bitch" on the wing lmao. Is the splitter just styrene painted black?

Sweet build.
Thanks guys. The splitter is actually black nylon. I made it as an experiment to see if I can keep the nose a little cleaner when I occasionally hit the wall.

State of the art rc car you have got.
what was used for the body lines. that tape?
"I drift not because it is a quicker way around a corner, but it is the most exciting way..."
looks like pin striping tape you can buy at a hobby store .
