HPI Sport 3 Drift Gear Up suggestion
#1
i just purchased a sport 3 BRZ, i have ordered a 4600kv cc siderwinder 3 setup.

i want to gear it up a fair bit to reduce top end, for a better drift setup.

Suggestions on what gears i should use, i'm a noobie.

I've had this car for about 2 days, the standard brushed motor is dog sh1t.

i will be using a 2s on this setup, maybe 3s one day

This is what I recently found after asking the exact same question and getting no advice.

It kind of all depends on what motor you're using and your drivetrain. Because you have to take all of that into account or you risk frying your motor/esc.

buy yourself an hpi 93 t spur and 20 pinion to start with.for me 4600kv sensorless ia a bit powerful for drifting.we preferre sensored motors for low speed driveability and better throttle response
