Hi dudes,

I'm new here, been into r/c drift since I was about 14 (20 now) but had a long hiatus. This is just a 'beater' body, wanted to try spraying trans colours as I never had before. Turned out okayish but it's just to tie me over until my friends bring a F31 Leopard back from japan.

Just running 8mm offset Streetjam Star Sharks for the time being.

Thanks man,

Anyone have tips for spraying translucent colours to stop the obvious zebra stripes?

I have the same issues. Just make sure you do thin thin layers

you gotta do super thin coats and be extra careful to adhere to recommended temp/humidity when spraying translucents/non-lacquer based paints, they're very finicky.

I find the biggest trick to translucent colors is applying it as evenly as possible on each coat, because your layering paint to achieve certain richness / darkness of color. If its thicker here or thinner there is where it will show flaws.
