RC926 12mm centre bone for less flex in the chassis
Next step was to install the GRK slide rack, mounting it to the chassis i ran into some issues with the centre bone and it was too low for me to get the steering geometry right, so mounting it to the front upper brace and spacing it 2.5mm down i had it at the perfect hight.
Choosing to mount the servo standing up meant i was able to use a spare RC926 brace post to space the steering link level to the slide rack for an even throw.
Engine mount is from RC926, its slightly darker but is ok because it goes well with the purple spur cover and all the purple screws.
Adjustable toe mount and some purple screws from SQUARE
Some plastic OVERDOSE!!
Battery holder and support
Adding an extra 2mm spacer inside the WUN Y-arms for slightly wider front track width
Took me awhile to get the geometry correct since the slide rack wasn't the conventional steering system setup for the DP, but eventually 22mm laters gave me the lock i was after.
For a super soft rear i installed piston plates that i had lying around from eagle racing which had much larger holes than the stock yokomo ones, with 10wt oil it gave me the softness i was looking for since i had the same setup on my FR-D v2.
Thats it for now!!
