REDCAT Lightning-EPX-DRIFT Anyone ?
#1
I was wondering if anyone has ever driven or owned the REDCAT LIGHTNING EPX DRIFT ?

http://www.redcatracing.com/Lightning-EPX-DRIFT

I have a few questions in regards to this make , hope someone knows a thing or two about it !

1) How does the REDCAT Lightning EPX DRIFT compare to say the HPI RS4 DRIFT SUBARU SPORT 3 4WD
( http://www.ebay.com/itm/HPI-Racing-1-10-...1259366085 )

2) Many claim this REDCAT to be the best RTR for its price in the market , which i believe , however i am very suspicious of its performance ability , and id like to know , how would one compare it to lets a Sakura D4 or D3 or MST drift models for example . If anyone has any idea , id extremely curious to find out !

3) If you've ever driven the LIGHTNING EPX DRIFT , how would you compare it to any other drifters you've also driven ?

Thank You .

You can´t compare it at all, that "Redcat lighting" is a stone old china chassis that goes by many names as any reseller simply rebrands it. Search for HSP "Flying Fish"  that will give you some more results and reviews on this chassis.
My recommendation, if you want to really drift don´t buy it. Go with a Sakura or MST like you write, since those are purpose build drift chassis, that offer way more options down the road compared to the Redcat, which is basically just what it is 50/50, no CS, no RWD no option parts ... and let´s face it crappy electronics. ;)

Excellent , finally , some direction ! Thank you so much for the advice .

If you don't mind , can you rank the following 5 cars , from best to worst in order ?

FXX-D RTR : http://www.rc-mst.com/product_car_info.p...94&sn=2918

MS-01D 4WD RTR : http://www.hobbystation.co.nz/ms-01d-1-1...15-silver/

Exceed : https://www.amazon.com/dp/849900508X?psc=1

Sakura D4 : https://hobbyking.com/en_us/3racing-sakura-d4-rwd-1-10-drift-car-kit.html

YOKOMO YD-2  : http://www.rcmart.com/yokomo-dpyd2-drift-package-competition-p-68958.html?cPath=420_1178

BONUS QUESTION :

Would any of these two cars compare to any of the cars above in terms of drifting , if you slapped on some real good drifting tires for an indoor track ?
