Searched and Searched can't find anything saying one way or the other but is the Reventon Pro ESC really needed over the Reventon R ESC? i believe the main difference is that the reventon pro is 140a while the R is 70a, when paired with a 8.5t motor is it worth the extra 50 bucks to go pro or just stick with the R esc? its going in a MST MS-01D

I feel its worth the extra 50 bucks.
The Pro's on/off switch is on the ESC itself, no extra wires and separate power switch to bother routing. Double the peak max amperage, in the event of a power spike you're less likely to fry. Lower internal resistance, cooler ESC temps and possible longer running times. Better program card/box. This is a big deal to me, on the Pro you have to solder on your own wires. I can't stand having a pastel rainbow on a sexy chassis. You can also get the Pro to run the Muchmore Fleta firmware which allows for more adjustments from the programming card.
