9 Replies, 6848 Views

This is my first R/C drifter build, I got the TT-01 chassis from a friend, he had 2 and wanted someone to drift with, Im more into the R/C crawling and offroad, I have 2 Axial SCX10 JK four door Jeeps, and I also have a slash 4x4 with a mamba monster 2650 system, but I love street cars and imports also. I post my videos to youtube, my channel is dcmotorsport91, that's where I post my crawling videos and my 1/1 truck videos, sub and Ill sub back! I got the kit brand new and assembled it myself.
This is what Im basing this project off of, my favorite color scheme on an Evo X.

OK GUYS!!!!! I think it came out awesome. This was my first lexan body that I did all the way through by myself. It was tricky, I had to borrow lexan scissors and a reamer from my buddy. I took my time and it payed off. The headlight decals were the only things that gave me trouble. Other than that, Im satisfied. CHECK IT OUT!!!!!
Here it is mock mounted on the chassis, theres no body posts under it, pretty much laid out.

Then I cut out the center bumper for the intercooler that will be mounted on the chassis. I used an exacto knife to cut it out.

Close up on the paint after peeling the protective layer. It looks more silver in this pic, but it came out awesome, its metallic blue, has some flake in it, really pops in the sun.

Here it is with all of the decals on, the tinted windows decals, I mock mounted the mirrors and the wing, they are getting sprayed black in the morning. It looks killer!

Here are all of my R/C toys, the Jeeps are 100% waterproof, 4x4. They are Axial SCX10 rigs. Then the slash 4x4 on the bottom. And my Tamiya TT-01 Evo X and my Tamiya TT-01 Silverado minitruck in the middle.
