Completed my First Drift Body!

9 Replies, 3677 Views

After days and hours of taking my sweet ass time painting my shell, custom carbon fiber on my hood and spoiler, and applying the decals, i am very satisfied with my results. Up close, there are imperfections, but from the distance it looks bad ass! Next step for me is to buy accessories for the body. Flip up lights, intercooler, exhaust, wipers, side mirrors, etc. If you know anywhere selling these specific items, let me know please!

Here it is: Toyota AE86 Trueno with Custom carbon fiber hood & spoiler.

Looks great man, HPI sells a whole kit with that stuff for like 10 USD. Comes with intercooler, side-view mirrors, exhaust. Not the most realistic stuff but a little paint and they can look good.

Thanks! I followed this video tutorial:

What kind of tint did you use - i tried the Tamiya's tint but it has become a little brown in the tone - did you just paint it with black from behind?
