TUTORIAL: How to Remove RC body Paint.
#1
Here is a VERY quick, safe and EASY way to remove body paint, without harming the body, OR clouding the lexan.
If you're looking for Dot 3 or 4, you wont find it here.

A Street Dynasty team member went to the hardware store and found this:

It says on the instructions that it is safe to use on Lexan. MOST IMPORTANT PART!
I saturated my body panels with the solvent, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and began to swipe it with a paper towel, It's Best to ALSO saturate the paper towel, and Wearing Gloves actually makes it way easier your fingers will stick to the paint, and it's a big mess.

Now, MY panels were painted on BOTH sides, i got the body from another SD team member, So it took me twice as long as it should for you.

What I had to start with (already presoaking)

And what happened after letting it sit for 5-6 minutes, then wiped quickly with a paper towel:

i removed my gloves, and then washed it with hot water, and then took a paper towel, lightly sprayed with the solvent, and wiped it a bit more thouroughly.

I then went with a Q-Tip and got the paint out of the body line.

This stuff works a ton faster than Dot 3&4. and doesnt cloud the body, although I still masked my windows as a procaution.

Thank you all for reading.

Came from menards, also, make sure if you're using this, you do not let it sit for longer than 5 minutes, you can continue spraying it over and over while you're scrubbing, but do not let it sit long. I worked fast on the body kit and it came out great, but i had to step away and the body sat in the solution for 3 hours, and is all cloudy now.

it looks like they changed the formula coding.... lift off 3 is biodegradable graffiti remover and marker remover, lift off 4 is a little stronger and can remove spray paints... wonder which bottle you have?
