Lol, I got around to fixing my car finally and got to run it on the tiny backyard track. Also witnessed Combat break the R31IFS. Was like a skateboard accident minus the impact. You hear the snap then you notice the car roll away kinda weird.

That's awesome Teshi. I know there's people out there cringing at the sight of bling being painted on. Variety is what makes sh*t awesome. That said, paint isn't very durable, ever thought about anodizing?
Don't be a douche and help the next guy.

I was gonna say the same thing chief, paint will more than likely just flake off the alum, well in my experience it has!! Lol

Well I totally agree, the paint is not going to be permanent but its getting three coats of clear enamel now. Last coat is drying. The stuff im using is more a plastic based paint so its a little more durable. Time will tell.

Anodizing is easy and the heavy anodizing that I want done is going to set me back around £250! The heavier stuff means more variety in colour so I can go third deep purple. IF i plan to do that, I need to win the lottery >_<

In theory all the parts im doing shouldnt need to be touched too often. Lets see what happens :)

If it flakes or chips, no big deal since it gives me an excuse to do it again. :)

BOOM! And done

Still got to do one more motor mount then some uprights. :)
