Wierd problem with ESC/motor
#1
Hi
I have a wierd problem with the D3
When I drive the car it runs Ok but when It stops, I push the throttle again and it wont move
(sometimes it goes into reverse if I want)
When I push the car forward with my hand and then give some throttle, it starts running again
Its like the motor get stuck.
I have checked the motor outside the car and it happened again so its not something in the car.
Any ideas what can it be?
I have HW v2.1 ESC and xerun 8.5 motor
Thanks

Maybe wiring? My hobbywing was the doing almost the same thing before and jus resoldered my connection... That fixed it... Maybe that could be it? Does it stutter when going forward?

From what i've read this usually has to do with the one of the sensors going bad in the motor, the esc doesn't know the position of the rotor, do you have whats called a hall sensor test?, My novak does, you turn it on and rotate the motor by hand, and the lights on the esc will light up to tell you if the sensor is working properly or not.

I dont have a hall sensor test but it seems that one of the wires  was soldered badly like combat said.
I soldered the wire again amd made a small test in the livingroom and it seems fine now.
will take it out tomorrow to test it more but I'm sure the problem solved..
Thanks guys for your help!
