Full Version: Hacktronic Drift ESC - slow reverse speed??

Hi All,

I got a new Yeah Racing Hacktronic Drift ESC today along with a Hobbywing QUICRUN 3650SD 8.5T motor.

Everything works fine, except reverse.

If anyone else has this ESC in drift mode I'd like to know how fast your car goes in reverse? Mine goes very slow in reverse. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that slow in reverse or not? With other ESC's reverse has gone a similar speed to forward. Forward is fine on my car.

I assumed that throttle calibration might be the problem, but I cannot seem to get it to calibrate. I turn the transmitter on, hold full reverse, turn on the car/ESC and it is supposed to beep twice, but it does not beep. It's just on like it's not being calibrated. I tried trimming the throttle on the transmitter, but nothing I do seems to make any difference nor allow me to calibrate the throttle with the ESC.

Any ideas?

Just to try, set controller as per manual instructions. Throttle 100 brake 100, dual rate off, trimming cantered then try calibrate.

Manuel says reverse throttle if you don't hear the beeps.
