I'm having trouble looking through chassis related topics. I always enjoy reading projects, but some are in the chassis picture section, some under chassis discussions and theres also a few in the setup sections. Maybe it is a good idea to better divide these sections, so that setups are really just setups, chassis discussions are really just general discussions and the projects are all together in the chassis gallery? Or maybe something like a 'garage' section where you can post all your chassis together and post updates about everything you have like minor updates to older bodyshells (new projects go to W.I.P.), updates about your radio or pitgear, show off your new stuff etc.  This only works offcourse is nobody is posting their projects in a section it doesn't belong in.

What do you guys think?

Theres a few more of these examples on the forum, like technical questions in a lot of different forum sections. Maybe I'm just not used to this way?
its hard to keep a uniform forum when most people are new to forums and non english speaking. especially when alot of topics can be multi translated...

i just try to keep up as best as i can and move what i see fit to move Smile
its really everyone... from welcome posts with pictures, to chassis builds and pics in the setup section... it never ends lol
Yes, some topics fit into multiple categories. I'm not trying to put down the way this forum is arranged, not at all. It has been like this on many other international forums in the past, but personally I've always found it a little bit chaotic. I guess its just what you're used to. Maybe you guys find 'my' forum cluttered because there's no  separation  based on different brands or chassis/eletronics etc. Check it out, most subforum titles are easily translatable; www.rcdrift.nl/forum

The problem with welcome posts turning into garage topics is easily fixed. On our local forum we used to close the welcome posts after a few days. Now we don't have to anymore as everyone has gotten so used to not posting in the welcome topics.
