Just got my carbon upper deck for my Sprint 2 from GPM today.
Finish is excellent. 10/10
Fit is great 9.5/10
The finish matches the genuine HPI CF pieces I have perfectly. No blemishes or rough spots.
The physical fit is perfect. The mounting holes are spot on and since it's slightly thinner than the stock plastic upper deck, it leaves more clearance for the main belt.
The only reason I give it a 9.5 out of 10 for fit is that you can't utilize factory screws to attach the stock waterproof box. If you want to use screws, they need to be much longer and have a washer/nut on the bottom to hold in place. Or use a slightly larger diameter screw to "tap" the holes and use the friction to hold in place.
It is an excellent solution since the HPI carbon pieces have been discontinued. It's well priced at $25 shipped to USA.

How much is it compared to the Exotech Racing conversion?

well, considering the Exotek is only sold as a 3 piece kit (main chassis, upper deck and front bumper brace) it's like comparing apples to oranges. the Exotek kit (3 pieces) usually goes for between $80 + shipping to $140'ish shipped. The GPM upper deck is only $25 shipped...you'll still need a main chassis if you're going all CF.

I am fortunate enough to have a couple brand new HPI carbon main chassis laying around, so I only needed this upper deck.

the Exotek main chassis is also considerably narrower than the HPI piece and the upper deck is a very simple design (less structure). not that that's a bad thing, it's just not what I want.
