thank you guys, tried my best to always make something unique out of everyday bodyshells. glad you like it and definitely happy that the one who's adopting this is stoke about it.

How do you paint the satin black finish? I am partial to flat/satin black, as all of my rock crawlers are done this way. Just wanted to see if there's a different technique or a specific paint that you use. Killer work, BTW. As a result of seeing this, I've just ordered the exact same body for my Sakura D3.

Wow man, stellar work on this! You really did manage to pull out something incredible from the standard shell. Well done

nice to hear that bud, there are two types of approach, paint the black on the inside then paint the outside with ps55 flat clear - first issued and applied on the tamiya addidas porsche.

2nd way to do it is paint on the outside then cover again with ps55. i prefer the first step.

on this build i painted both the inside and the outside black then painted it ps55 to get the satin look like the real car, this step is also needed as i did mods on the vents. that way it would look seemless.

thank you for asking Smile
