RE-Xtreme FD3s NF-SPEC - RE-Xtreme RC - 12-03-2013

Here is a finished body. one of only a handful that I have built for other people.

The main reason I accepted this is because I had offers to buy my silver FD. But I didn't want to sell it.
So I thought... I;d like to get some Side by Side with two super cool fd3s.

Since then another Fd3s with wide fenders has appeared and we now have about 4 widebody Tamiya fd3s that we can chain.

I've reverted my Silver machine back to street spec also.

Nice. The headlights looks weird. Is it suppose to be like that or what?

Not wierd, just different. The Tamiya pop-ups that come with this are horrendous! On my silver FD, I had to customize those into a 1/2 height 4 beam knight sports style light setup to get rid of them.

I didn't want to make the car the exact same as every other FD3s and I want to have as much RED as possible.
I have headlight covers painted like RE-Amemiya versions but they don't really match what I was going for.

I was going to run only 3 lights with a vent for the 4th position. but I swayed against.

With the lights on it looks awesome with the exposed lights though. Wink

Is it bad that I want to make an rx7 like this but in blue? Lol I am really really liking this one.

Awesome job Russ! I'm digging the wheels, dash and rear deck plate. Great detail on the custom headlights!

On the rear, the "button" is for the LED pattern change. Its fun because I can tell when I 've been hit up the ass as the pattern changes. HAhA.

LoL that's clever. What LED system do you use? The one I have needs to have the button held for a while to change patterns
