I have now new threaded alloy shocks and a Hobbywing 35A ESC and looking for a brushless motor ..... I'll post some pics later! RE: My HPI sprint 2 50/50 - Combat_Drftr - 02-06-2013 Cool.. Is that front motor mod a kit.. Looks great... RE: My HPI sprint 2 50/50 - DUSH - 02-06-2013 (02-06-2013, 05:29 AM)Combat_Drftr Wrote: Cool.. Is that front motor mod a kit.. Looks great... No there is no kit for the sprint 2 yet on the web to make it front motored. All the front motor sprints are custom mods ! RE: My HPI sprint 2 50/50 - Combat_Drftr - 02-06-2013 oh sweet!! did you just reverse the chassis?? i have seen this done a cyclone s.. pretty awesome.. RE: My HPI sprint 2 50/50 - TheCarterRoss - 02-06-2013 I was so close to finishing this on my sprint.... Then drift night rolled around, I hadn't worked out the steering yet so back it went to stock configuration. I kind of wish I had done it so your pictures will come in extremely handy if i get around to it. Thanks! Combat, it's more or less just swapping the rear to the front of the chassis and the front to the rear and then remounting things. The only real problem its just going custom on the steering which isn't actually too bad as DUSH has just shown us. RE: My HPI sprint 2 50/50 - Combat_Drftr - 02-06-2013 yeah i have seen it done to a cyclone-s.. it looks very cool and fun converting it... RE: My HPI sprint 2 50/50 - TheCarterRoss - 02-06-2013 Yeah. In this hobby you almost have to find it fun haha. I'd like to drive one to see how it compares. RE: My HPI sprint 2 50/50 - Piper - 02-06-2013 I threw my buddies battery on the front bumper of his Sprint 2, just with bailing wire. Even without tuning the car immediately drove better. No doubt in my mind especially if you plan on going Cs. Weight distribution is pretty key. nice setup by the way |
