Best 86/Brz Light Buckets - driftscooby - 03-14-2016 I'm thinking about getting a brz body and would love to know what light buckets you guys prefer and if anybody makes tail light buckets? RE: Best 86/Brz Light Buckets - wareagle84 - 03-15-2016 Pretty sure Yokomo and Tamiya make the thick plastic ones that are chrome and you can buy separate from the body. HPI makes the lexan ones you gotta paint and can only get them when buying a body. Thanks RE: Best 86/Brz Light Buckets - tamiya - 03-28-2016 Tamiya's road spec 86 & BRZ (yeah they did 2 different body molds) come with lexan light cups for nose & tail, with injection moulded styrene mirrors. Gotta paint the lexan cups chrome yourself. Think the Gazoo racing 86 is same lexan cups too, but I haven't bought that yet. RE: Best 86/Brz Light Buckets - Moovio_RC - 04-02-2016 Yokomo has chrome lightbuckets, you can find them with Google here: Yokomo GT86 Lightbuckets The Chrome buckets have pre-drilled holes for the rear lights, so they I can not use them for my GT86 build. I want to apply Overdose Real 3D stickers which don't match with the rear lights. I'm not sure if there's any good chrome paint for lexan to do the Tamiya buckets in my kit... RE: Best 86/Brz Light Buckets - wareagle84 - 04-02-2016 Spaz-stix chrome RE: Best 86/Brz Light Buckets - tamiya - 04-03-2016 there's good chrome paint available but it's not easy if you haven't done it before there's also Bare Metal Foil if you don't want to paint |
