Exceed RC Drift King Brushed edition

I have an Exceed RC DK Brushed edition and I have have no complaints other than the esc and switch coming loose, other than that its pretty fun to play with it. I'm just looking for tips for the 50/50 setup and was wondering what should I upgrade to help the car drift better? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the drift star, love it, it's currently rwd, but as for the 50/50 I think a great setup is stiffer rear shocks and springs, and lighter up front, and u can also get the high angle Cvds and do the steering lock mod and it will allow u to get more angle on your drifts and also can lock up the rear diff......as far as other upgrades well I think the stock chassis does well as it is imo

Thanks for the advice. Do you know where I can get the steering lock mod? Or is it something that I can do like locking the diff?

I see you mentioned that your car is rwd. To get that do you just remove the shaft? (ikniw this isnt the thread for it) I tried that to see what would happen and just spun and didn't get anywhere.

I have a redcat. What i did is take apart my rear diff and cleaned it and let dry. As i put the peices together i used jb weld to lock everything inside. Glued it permanenty because there will be no regret. Let it dry naturally for a few hours and you will be ready to rock. ... i also added some weight on front bumper and made major improvemen[/i]t.

If u lock yur rear diff in yur red cat youll wanna think about locin your front as well or even getting a front one way diff. W/ a slip diff in the front and locked in the back u might spin out too much. W/ the front locked youll lose a little lock but u can get it back w/ the lock mods.

If u lock only the rear it does tend to over steer easy, I just tightened up the rear susp a lil and it helped!!
