So iv never owed a stealth body mount setup but I'm going to be ordering one for my new chassis. ill be using Eagle Racing brand but they have multiple types. the first type is the velcro type.

im afraid with this type it will be a pain to get the body straight and ill end up with the wheels rubbing and ill mess up the paint if I'm not careful...next is the magnet type.

With this style I'm afraid that its not adjustable enough and once i cut the body post and set it up for the body I'm using it might only work with that body. if i get a new one that needs a higher mounting potion i won't be able to too as the post will be too short. let me know your guys experiences with these and what the pros and cons are of them, Thanks
I'm looking g at ordering a set also. I'm leaning towards the Velcro for the adjustability as I switch bodies constantly. I'll be running it on my d3. So also interested feedback. (not to hijack thread)
Velcro is the best way. Magnets tend to pop the body off if hit hard enough.
I put a large peice of velcro in and line the body up before I drop it down.
Theres also another thread about stealth mounts around here if you search

the velcro work well. locate yourself some good strong velcro and increase the size of the point of contact using some flat polycarbonate. i found the body could dislodge quite easily using the mounts as per your photo. once i made the contact patch about double the width the body stays in position a lot better
i prefer magnet stealmount, it's make more comfort to me
I've got the magnet as well, I find it to be pretty nice. It locks in place every time and all you have to do is place the magnets in a different place on a different body. I like how it will snap off if hit too hard too... Its more forgiving for the chassis

Thats a cool idea. I want one for my up comming build.
I tried them all and my favorite is a mix of magnets with the brackets of the velcro mount, but here is my view on all of them.
Bodypost:
Pros:
Strongest
Easy height adjustment
cheap to replace
Cons:
Ugly post sticks out
Ugly holes everywhere in the bodies
Pain in the a** to place right when inexperienced
Once a post is cut, it's cut.
Don't you hate loosing them body clips...
Velcro:
Pros:
Clean
Strong (depending on type of velcro)
Easy adjustment (can go from very low body to high with set screw adjustments)
Cons:
Looses its strength over time
Velcro glue doesn't stay on long because of body flexibility
When worn, the body will kinda "float" and look all shaky while driving
Velcro will catch dirt over time as well
Magnet:
Pros:
Clean (might catch minor magnetic dust sometimes)
Strong
Always snaps in the same place
minimal surface needed inside the body
cons:
Gotta have some serious double sided tape. (parma gel tape)
Pops off a bit too often ( I double mines up)
Pain to adjust height if you use the eagle racing ones.
I have used both, and prefer magnets. I glue them with ShoeGoo to the body, and never had a problem. In the case paint shows some damage because of the glue, I just cover it with some decorative decal. The body always get in place with no need to adjust everytime you put the body on. Also recoment bodypost in the back (back ones are almost invisible) it will hold the body on place in case of a collision.
I have bodypost in the back on this pictures,

so my recomendations is magnets on the front, bodymounts (cut them very short) at the back.
I've always used velcro mounts (on a HPI Sprint 2, Sakura D3, and MST XXX-D) without any problems. Sometimes it can be difficult to align a body, but its a small price to pay for the overall benefits.
