I'm going to build it with the KPI mod but I'm still waiting on the Yokomo upper arms to arrive. So when I get those I'll mod the box kit first before I do the same to the Graphite chassis (I'm building the graphite chassis as a seperate car). The next order will also include a heap of Titanium screws that I've looked up from the installation instrucions. I will be getting the alloy MST knuckles, probably the the ones with the short arms? for more steering but that won't happen till after  Christmas! I still want to do the inboard mod as well, but need to wait till after too! This is the last order I can afford before  Christmas,  My missus has the  Christmas  laybuy's to pay off and we are on a fixed low income so I have been extremely  lucky  to convince her to let me get this next order. lol

And trawling through available hop ups on rcMart for a part that looks like it might work. But as for modifying parts you got to make do with what you have sometimes and find a way to make it work lol.

that chassis had been on ebay three times he reduced the price down from $90, It was from Australia I think? I was thinkin about it too lol I asked him why he wouldn't fix it when the tub only costs 15 bucks and you can get the plastic bulkheads now to so a complete rebuild won't cost that much

I've actually started building a chassis from scratch because I have so many random bits lying around... It's not a drift car though.

If you have a question, just ask Pickled or myself.

Dorvack.

Thanks fellas, i'll probably bug you guys from time to time as i'm new to the dori scene. Progress has been slow as i've had family staying with me.

I've torn down the steering and "old mate" has assemble the knuckles on the wrong sides and placed the king pin bushings upside down and also leaving one out. The 13t pulley to the front diff has died also. I'll rebuild the shocks and see if they're ok and order parts today but i dont like my chances of getting everything before christmas tho......

I'll have a go at turning up KP bush on the lathe to get the steering sorted.

Hey Pickled, you wouldn't have a plastic 13t pulley laying around to get me rolling would you?

Oh mate, id appreciate it if you could. If you could PM me how much you'd want for them and postage that would be great.

Thanks
Just Modded the yokomo upper arms and they are so much stronger and way less flimsy now it only has vertical movement in the arms. worked well
Anyone bored with their D3 yet? I need one cheap. I don't care for electronics, bodies, wheels etc. Just a rolling chassis (rear driveline can be broken, won't need that)

That didn't take long to arrive here. Did you need to trim much off?

Dorvak this is the perfect mount for the upper arm there's no movement laterally at all only vertically

That came out good! Have you worked out how much caster you can run with the setup..
the KPI sets the caster but I haven't checked it out yet
